Now officially a part of Under Armour’s prestigious UA Next All-America Camp Series, the ESPN300 Elite Hawaii Camp has been rebranded as the2025 UA NEXT All-America Camp Series - Maui, HI, marking an exciting new chapter in our mission to elevate Hawaii’s high school football athletes.
In just three years, this camp has become the gold standard for elite-level, maximum-exposure football camps in the Hawaiian Islands. Founded by Joseph "Jojo" Dickson Jr., a former collegiate and professional football player turned mentor and coach, and powered by Dickson Performance and The Underdog Foundation, this camp continues to provide unparalleled opportunities for Hawaii’s top football talent to shine on a national stage.
A Proven Track Record of Success
Our camp’s impact speaks for itself. To date, nearly 40 Division 1 scholarships valued at over $4,000,000 have been earned by camp participants. In 2024 alone, we celebrated a milestone as Isaiah Iosefa, a linebacker from Mililani High School, and Abel Hoopii, an offensive lineman from Farrington High School, became the first two players in camp history to earn UA All-America Game invites from the same camp. This success builds on a legacy that includes Iapani "Poncho" Laloulu, Hawaii’s first UA All-American from our inaugural camp, now a starting offensive lineman for the Oregon Ducks and a freshman All-American.
The tradition of excellence continued in 2023 when St. Louis Crusaders stars Rustin Young and Houston Ka'aha'aina-Torres joined the ranks of UA All-Americans. Rustin’s standout game performance and subsequent commitment to Michigan State University highlight the camp’s pivotal role in shaping the future of Hawaii football.
A Platform for Hawaii’s Youth Athletes
This year, we’re expanding our impact even further. For the first time, we will invite one participant to the UA Next All-America 8th Grade Game, showcasing the best middle school talent and reinforcing our commitment to developing Hawaii’s youth football players.

What to Expect at the Camp
Check-In
Athletes will check in by position upon arrival.
Measurements
Preliminary metrics such as height, weight, arm length, and wingspan will be recorded.
Gear Up
Participants will be outfitted with the latest Under Armour gear, ensuring peak performance and style.
Photos
Professional headshots and profile photos will be taken for the UC Reports database and ESPN.com content, boosting athletes’ online exposure.
Recruiting Seminar
A detailed seminar will provide invaluable insights into the recruiting process, led by some of the nation’s top experts.
Instruction & Testing
- NFL-style combine testing and drill segments will conclude the camp.
- HD video footage of all drills and 1-on-1s will be captured for college coaches’ evaluation.
- Combine results will be shared directly with athletes via a free app post-event.
